Built with the belief that
data should be accessible

OpenHealthData was founded in Burlington, Vermont with a simple conviction — the health data that shapes care decisions shouldn't be locked behind enterprise paywalls.

Hello, I'm Miles.
📍 Burlington, Vermont

I'm passionate about healthcare, data, and accessibility. After more than a decade working with healthcare data, I've watched quality and outcomes insights drive the decisions that matter most, and watched those same insights stay out of reach for organizations that couldn't afford the tools or the teams to access them.

The decisions being made right now by providers, vendors, consultants, and policymakers depend on this data. Most of them don't have easy access to it.

I built OpenHealthData to change that, to give anyone with a stake in healthcare the same clarity that was previously reserved for organizations with large data budgets and specialized teams.

Mission
Make healthcare data accessible, understandable, and actionable.
The data that drives healthcare decisions has always existed. We make sure everyone who depends on it can actually use it.
Vision
A single source of truth for healthcare intelligence
A platform where anyone can find, understand, and act on the data that matters to them. Comprehensive, continuously updated, and built to grow alongside the industry it serves.
